Fields of Flowers Nigerian Dwarf Goat Farm is located in Independence Missouri, near Kansas City. Our goats are registered with American Goat Society and American Dairy Goat Association. We raise high quality and colorful goats that come from great bloodlines that have moonspots, blue eyes, and some are polled. Now we are very excited to be adding Silver to our array of colors!. We have officially submitted our application for Linear Appraisal for 2021! We are going to attempt to start milk test this year too and hopefully earn our girls their milk stars. These goats are dairy goats and we want them to be both beautiful and productive. Our goal is to breed better goats with each generation. It has been very beneficial to us participating in LA and learning the strengths and weakness's of our existing goats. Our goats are our family and are very important to us. Even though we now have many goats we still have a bond with each and every one. I will occasionally sell an adult goat to a home that I feel will give it as much love and attention as we do to make room for the new generations. We see no reason not to breed for blue eyes, polled and moonspotted goats when focusing on conformationally-correct animals and strong milking genes. It can be a lot of fun making beautiful babies and meeting wonderful people who love goats like we do. Please call, text, or e-mailif you are interested in purchasing a goat.
I have had several inquiries lately asking to come for a visit to play with our goats. I think it's great we have so much interest, but at this time we do not have anything in place for the public to visit. We do not have a petting zoo or host events for birthdays. Maybe it's something I can have in place at some point in the future. We just have a goat farm with lots of wonderful goats!
